We’re like family here at Prospect Podiatry, and we aim to make you feel right at home. Our clinic has been established for 70 years and we pride ourselves on our loyal, multigenerational clientele - join the family for pain free feet!
Jessica graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Podiatry (Honours), where she received multiple University Merit Awards. Her thesis focused on the effects of footwear on knee muscle activity in individuals with knee osteoarthritis. She enjoys treating a vast caseload of podiatry services and firmly believes in following management/treatment strategies with an evidence-based and structural approach.
Jessica has a very caring nature, which is evident by her determination to work in her patient’s best interest to help them achieve a pain-free active lifestyle. In her final year of university, Jessica spent a month abroad in Cambodia with other allied health students working with children at the National Paediatric Hospital. She also conducted home visits to address functional issues specific to a patient’s environment and educate their family on incorporating treatment techniques into daily activities.
Since finishing university, Jessica has undertaken ongoing education to improve her podiatric knowledge. She has participated in foot mobilisation courses, biomechanical workshops and is currently in the process of obtaining her prescribing rights for medication. As a member of the Podiatry Association, she has presented at a seminar regarding the use of drugs in contemporary practice and has been invited to be a panel member at the National Podiatry Conference.
Outside of podiatry, she enjoys live gigs, road trips, hiking and if time permits, traveling overseas.
