Mole Check

Melanomas, basal cell carcinomas (BCC), and squamous cell carcinomas (SCC) form less commonly on the feet than on other body areas. Because feet are “out of sight, out of mind,” these skin cancers are unfortunately often missed or diagnosed late, leading to poor outcomes.

As part of your general foot care, we will check for moles and lesions, photograph and monitor annually or more frequently, and refer you to your GP or specialist for further assessment and treatment if concerns arise.
